| elvis here, |
| sanbarhero is letting me play on his
computer some more, and I thought I'd talk about music. |
| sanbar has this old stereo in his
basement. Man, it's a relic. It has a rectangular hole in it, where
he says you put a tape in, called an "8 track". I never heard of
it. In my day, the cutting edge was reel to reel. Well, never mind,
sanbar says all his tapes went bad years ago. All he had was like 3 dog
night, vanilla fudge, John Lennon and stuff. Oh, don't forget "The
Band". You remember their song, "Daniel and the Sacred
Harp"? |
| Well it has a record player on top of
it, too, but sanbar won't put his records on it. Says the needle is dull,
bad for all his old 33's. |
| But let me tell you this... sanbar
plays the radio. Some of this stuff they play now, well, I just don't get it. |
| Anyway, I've been working on sanbar's
boy about his guitar. Hoping one day he'll break down and let me play
it. It's a good'un. That boy is good on it, too. All he plays
is religious stuff, contemporary, you know. Inspirational. About
Jesus. |
| I've noticed sanbar, when his boy
plays that guitar and sings. It tickles sanbar to death. He's proud. |
