If you haven't already figured it out, sanbar likes catfishing and camping on the riverbank. Here's a couple of pictures of two big ones. These came out of the Black Warrior River below Moundville, Alabama. They were caught 2 days apart, in February, tightlining, using 20 pound test Trilene XT with 2-0 Kahle hooks. The bait of choice was cut buffalo carp, mixed with frozen shad for added flavor. One weighed 53 pounds, and the other weighed 49 pounds. elvis helped. |
